Reversible knives | Indexable inserts
Our indexable inserts can be screwed-in or clamped in tool holders like the turning tool or milling cutter. They are equipped with several cutting edges and available in various shapes and sizes. This way they can be used for specific applications. If a cutting edge should wear out and become blunt, the inserts can simply be turned, as they possess several cutting edges.
The majority of our indexable inserts feature chip breakers, with which short-breaking chips can be removed during machining.
Besides, the design follows different standards, which take into account the different variations of the define disks. The DIN ISO 1832 provides an overview of the geometric shapes that are possible with indexable inserts.
